The measures discussed below relate only to regulations introduced to help deal with the coronavirus outbreak. For information about weddings in our churches after July 2020, please click here.
No weddings can currently take place. If you have a marriage ceremony planned for May or June 2020, we will stay in touch to ensure that you receive regular updates and support you.
Wedding couples with ceremonies in July and August whose banns cannot be read in church, will need to apply for a Common Marriage License. We will contact you with further details as soon as possible.
Current Church of England regulations mean that baptisms can be conducted as standalone services, but attendance must be limited to 6 people plus the priest. You must follow social distancing regulations and wear face coverings in church buildings unless you are exempt. Baptisms as part of regular Sunday worship will also be possible, but please be mindful that the numbers of people already in attendance for Sunday worship and the limited capacity of our churches will restrict numbers in the baptism party.
If you require your child to be baptised urgently please contact Simon Lewis.
Funerals may still take place but must adhere to strict regulations. Please email the Church Office or telephone 01761 463 205 for further information.
